Hi, Basically, my computer crashed and I had to do a full reinstall. I did not have time to create a screenshot of the account passwords for a crypto account I have. Does Firefox hold browser history anywhere OTHER than my computer? I would need to retrieve my browsing history for a specific Date and Hour. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I needed to know if Firefox kept my browsing data on a cloud server or anything like this.

No. Unless you are using sync or storing files elsewhere . . . .

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.

Is it the computer that crashed, or the hard drive? Data can be recovered from a hard drive.

Firefox comes in two or more folders on all computers. They are;

Maintenance: (Programs Folder) <Windows Only> Firefox itself: (Programs Folder) And two folders in the profile of each user on the computer for each Firefox profile for that user.

If you remove the Firefox folder, the user profiles would not be affected.
