
login to server failed
Hi, Thunderbird has worked fine for a few years now until, installed latest update (60.2.1 x86 en-GB) on 13th Oct, stopped working on about 17th/18th Oct, not sure if there is any connection or just coincidence. Now get message - logon to server imap.tools.sky.com with username ###########@sky.com failed. Tried changing imap and smtp settings and password, cant find any settings to change in yahoo mail (sky email is now yahoo mail, has been for a few years). The imap.tools.sky.com port 993, and smtp.mail.yahoo.com port 465 settings have always worked, I tried changing them to imap.mail.yahoo.com port 993 and smtp.mail.yahoo.com port 465, but this didn't fix the problem. Not sure how to fix this, can you help please? Was going to send the Thunderbird troubleshooting info but not enough room here to add it. Many thanks, Tony.

Tried changing imap and smtp settings
There is no point trying arbitrary combinations of server settings. Use the settings as per your email provider's instructions.
