Firefox 62.0 update has deleted the "Description" in bookmark properties .... Why?

The bookmark description is no longer supported. Downgrading to ESR is only putting off the inevitable, as next year when you update to the next ESR version, it will be gone then. There are several addons that restore it however, so I'd suggest installing them

Hi Freepost, to clarify, extensions cannot touch the Descriptions field in the Places database (where history and bookmarks are stored). However, extensions can offer similar features using their own storage and some reportedly can import your existing descriptions. I haven't tested recently, but for example: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/bookmark-notes/
