FireFox updated to 62.0. Now hyperlinks won't launch webpages. This has happened on past updates. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Do the link URLs contain "safelinks"? There is another thread about those (unsolved): https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1230794

Which methods do/don't work:

  • single left-click
  • right-click > Open Link in New Tab
  • right-click > Open Link in New Window
