I called Network Solutions and asked them to change the password setting. They said I had to contact my browser to have them to make the change. The way it is now set up anyone can click on the ............... and read my mail. I want to have to enter my password to get in.

Thank you. Wally Mattson

You have posted in the Thunderbird forum. Are you using Thunderbird or Firefox to access you mail?.

Hi Matt

This email account is with Network Solutions Webmail I contacted them thinking they were my access. They said to contact who ever is your browser only they can change the password space to blank so the password has to be entered each time to view the mail. I also have a website with them.

Thanks,

W.

You did not say if you use Thunderbird or Firefox, so I will give you the instructions for both.

For Thunderbird these are the instructions in the knowledge base. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/password-manager-remember-delete-change-tb

For Firefox the same instructions are here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/password-manager-remember-delete-change-and-import

Thanks Matt,

I use Firefox for the internet and Thunderbird for my other email account jcevents@att.net

Hi Matt,

I went to the instructions for Firefox. I only want to delete the password shown when I go to open my email at Network Solutions Webmail. I have other email accounts. Went to the Foxfire instructions. Not being very good at tech I don't to screw anything up (the other accounts). Could you walk me through the steps.

I would really appreciate it.

W
