Prior to the newer Firefox platform when you selected a new tab there were approx 4 rows of previously visited sites displayed. Allowing for more than 16 possible selections.

The new platform only allows a maximum of 2 rows (16 selections total). I would like to be able to customize this section up to 4-5 rows. Is there a hack available that will allow me to increase the number of rows?

Would the option to be able to display more than 2 rows be entertained by the development community?

Thanks,

To get more than two rows :

Type in the address bar about:config and press Enter (promise to be careful, if aksed)

Type in the search bar and look for the preference :

browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSitesRows

and change its value to whatever number you like.

Than close and restart Firefox, in order for the change to take effect.
