I always receive a message which tell me that I should update my Firefox. I use Firefox 56.0.2 and I don't want to update my Firefox because new Firefox is absolutely terrible for me. And I don't want to see this message in the top of my page. Why I should look at it? How I can disable this message? Thanks.

HI, uninstall the Mozilla Maintenance Services. Find in the Mozilla Firefox folders some where Updater.exe rename it Updater-old,exe. Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

This is probably done via an extension that is installed as a hotfix. You might be able to see this extension on the about:support (Help -> Troubleshooting Information) page. Special extensions are installed in the features folder in the profile folder (use the button on about:support or see about:profiles).

where is no need to uninstall something, edit files or delete extensions To solve this problem you just need go to about:config page, find extensions.shield-recipe-client.enabled and set it to "false"

And now all's good!

Note that in Firefox 60 extensions.shield-recipe-client.enabled has been replaced by app.normandy.enabled.
