Hi, no idea what menu you are using to view bookmarks but from the Menu Bar at top of browser or from the the Customized Show Bookmarks please select Show All Bookmarks then Click on Restore and please check dates and amount/size and pick one only if satisfied will get most of them back.

If you use Sync then best is to disconnect Sync temporarily during troubleshooting.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks and history) in the Firefox profile folder.

  • use "Verify Integrity" on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page
