i want to view it in my browser, not a stand alone . if i use ver/ 47, it works, but i would prefer to use the latest firefox ver.

most of these ip cameras need proprietary plugins to work in browsers. these aren't supported in modern browsers anymore, firefox stopped supporting them a year ago: Why do Java, Silverlight, Adobe Acrobat and other plugins no longer work?

you shouldn't use an outdated browser for your normal surfing because of that, as you'll be riddled with security vulnerabilities and your system / all the data on it is on risk of being compromised.
