As per the Question.

The Dyslexic font is available in a number of sources, but how can I add it to the list available on Firefox?

Thank you - I have installed, but I'm not (obviously) seeing the Font, unless web-pages are overriding my browser settings. There's a "D" symbol on the taskbar, so at least I know it is active.

Hi again  !

If you have problems with the add-on, you could ask the developer - there's an email link for support under 'More information'  :

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/mobile-dyslexic/?src=search

OK, thanks - will do.

Why is it termed mobile?

(When I posted the question, I picked the Windows version of Firefox, not Android).

I was wondering that myself - another thing you could ask the developer.

I suggested this add-on before to somebody on Windows - worked for
that OP  :

If you keep having problems, even after emailing the developer : let us know, you hear  ! Good luck - keeping my fingers crossed  !

Having used it for a few days, it seems all it does is slightly increase font size and letter spacing, increases line-spacing. Certainly I haven't seen any of the expected dyslexia font.

Bummer  !

Have you contacted the developer about this  ? He shouldn't make promisses that he can't keep .....

Just had an idea, but it probably won't be something you want - a text to speech add-on :

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/chirpy/

I've been searching for another extension, other ways to add a Dyslexic font to the Firefox list of fonts - to no avail (so sorry .... )

You should remove the Chosen Solution mark from my post, cause I haven't really been able to solve your problem ....

You can do so by clicking the 'Undo' button to the right of that post.

That way more people will be taking a look at this thread and, who knows : maybe somebody will come up with the perfect solution for you .....

Haven't been in touch as there's no direct mail to the developer - only feedback. Can't use text-speech.

My pleasure - just wish I could have been more helpful and come up with a simple and perfect solution. Let's hope that add-on will turn out to be it after all ....

Very interesting. That seems to be the font the app is using, whereas I was expecting https://opendyslexic.org/

Looks like I removed my post too late (my 'Oops' post ... )

I found out right after I posted it, that it can't be added to the fonts list. I just submitted a request to add such font to the list - you could do the same, if you want to : https://qsurvey.mozilla.com/s3/FirefoxInput/

No matter how hard I try to find another solution : looks like we're stuck with that add-on.

The other add-on that's recommended all over the place, has been removed by the author.

Arrgghh  !

Arrgghh  !

I have made the request to Firefox to add both types to the list of available fonts.

Cheers Sir!
