When I'm on a website and am scrolling down the page, a new tab will open up suddenly to a website that I REALLY do not want to peruse. I have popups set for on, I have a Malware Program which includes anti-virus and firewall. Any suggestions?

Call adware tabs and it is probably set from the page. You'll have to contact the site about the problem. They most likely have a work around to get around your popups and malware program.

If you aren't already using a strong ad blocker like the following, it might help:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/

As with any content blocking add-on, there will be some pages where you need to use its toolbar button to make an exception in order to see all of the content in the page. Ultimately, you'll have to decide whether the benefits outweigh that annoyance.

I'm already using a program called AdBlocker Ultimate. It is usually pretty effective at blocking popups and adware so I was hoping for something other. Thank you, though.
