If you reinstalled Firefox and didn't remove you personal data when you uninstalled Firefox then Firefox should automatically find and reuse your previous profile.

What reasons did you have to reinstall Firefox? Did you uninstall Firefox before reinstalling? Did you remove your personal data in the profile folder in "AppData\Roaming"?

  • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

If you did then you can only get back your passwords if you made a backup of your Firefox profile. You can check if you have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop in case you have used the refresh feature in Firefox.

Did you look for the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop?

You can also check if there are orphaned profiles present by opening the current profile folder an go up one level.

You can check in Windows Explorer if there is a previous version of the logins.json and key4.db files available.
