Why has Mozilla disabled my Feedly addon for my toolbar? It has now disappeared after an update. AND also it has disabled some of the features in the Last Pass Icon.

I notice it is something to do with Legacy - WHEN IS FIREFOX GOING TO REPAIR THESE PROBLEMS.

Starting in Firefox 57, the technologies that extensions can use to modify Firefox will be restricted. The "Legacy" label informs you of which extensions will be affected. Some are in the process of being updated, while others will fade into history.

Starting in Firefox 57, extensions might only be able to add one button to the toolbar or address bar area; I don't know about ads, and I'm pretty sure a whole toolbar is not possible.

Since you are running Firefox 55, there must be some other compatibility issue.

I'm not sure which Feedly extension has a problem. The Add-ons site indicates that many are compatible with Firefox going forward: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/search/?q=feedly

For the LastPass extension, our help article suggests reinstalling it: Lastpass was disabled after updating Firefox.

In order to address user complaints, LastPass has been releasing beta test versions of its next release on the following page. While there's no assurance the latest test version will work better, it might be worth a try:

According to firefox the feedly icon I had is not compatible.

As far as last pass is concerned I do try to reinstall but still has a problem.

Will just have to wait to see if updates are on the way. I do not have hardly any icons in my toolbar so i am sure that two would be ok.

Thanks

You can check on their website to see what the deal is. Although this is not a surprise to the addon creators, they knew for over a year, but they all procrastinated till the last minute haha
