I accidentally tried to move my Firefox app (macbook 10.6.8) to my desktop, where it "poofed" and disappeared. Can I get it back? Love old firefox!

My Macbook is 9 years old. Firefox was my best option for a functioning browser. I tried to move it to my desktop, but it poofed and disappeared. I've checked a few places but cant find it. Has this happened to any of you? Were you able to get it back? Help!

PS. Where can I possibly get a copy of the Firefox program that was compatible with my 10.6.8? I'm so sorry that I lost it!

The last version of Firefox for MacOS X 10.6.x is version 45.9.0esr. You can find it in the following folder. Scroll down to your language-locale code, for example, en-US is U.S. English. If you're not sure of your code, check the address bar while you're using this forum and it should be inserted there.
