AVG just replaced firefox with their own browser...WTF?
AVG is my security provider. It came up with a message in effect saying that I had some dodgy handles on some applcations, and asking me to click OK to fix. I cliked OK and now I have a browser powered by AVG and advertizing ebay facebook amazon westpac along the bottom of the screen. It seems to me that it is all out war and anything goes. Has this happened to anyone else?

Is it an AVG browser, or Firefox using an AVG home page?
You should contact AVG support to get rid of what you don't want.
