How can I change my sign-on account with Firefox back to my service provider, not the gmail.com account?

I rarely use my gmail account, but did this afternoon because I wanted to write a Google review for a company, I did. I got feedback that said my regular e-mail account is now listed as the recovery email for my gmail.com account. I want to switch these 2 accounts, so gmail is the backup e-mail account, not the primary.

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

If you want to use a different email address for a Firefox Account, for Sync and other services, you need to create a new account using the other email address.

Currently there is no way to change the email address, as that is the "identifier" for your account. I have heard that might change, but with nor mention of when that might happen.
