how do I add second toolbar?
Thunderbird has a button to do this in the Customise area.

Many of us are using; https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ Classic Theme Restorer (Customize Australis)
Restore squared tabs, appmenu, add-ons bar, small button view and more on Australis UI (Windows/MacOSX/Linux + Fx 29+).
This will restore many of the things the upgrades took away.

No I don't think that's what I want. I have no idea how this "classic" version worked anyway.
I just want more room for my addons icons.
See if this is what your looking for. Though the above suggestions where used to add a 2nd toolbar that I have seen while just happen to find this for another person. Google search term " Firefox add a 2nd toolbar "

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
Hi !
If it is extra room for your add-on icons you are looking for, maybe you'd like to give this a try :

That's the sort of thing. Although several icons refused to drag down to it -- until I exited Customize & tried a 2nd or 3rd time. Weird.
Now what I want is to make the SEARCH entry box much wider so I can see everything I'm entering.
