I have been so frustrated for months. My printer setting will not stay in firefox. I use a Star TSP 700II printer and normally have zero problems. I constantly have to go into the about:config and reset my footers, headers, etc so that these will not print.

Also the size of my receipts for my store will just shrink and I can not change them. At first I thought it was Malware but now I am not sure. I have read and read and sometime it will fix but then it goes back to being tiny or the header and footer shows up again. And we change nothing.

Can you assist? My POS system has to use Firefox

As to the printer, try this; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-fix-preferences-wont-save

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.

As to the receipts, how are they stored? A picture, separate text file . . . . . . Is it just the receipts, or the whole page?

Check your zoom controls.

<Control> + (plus) enlarge <Control> - (minus) reduce <Control> 0 (zero) restore

It prints fine in Safari. My POS works better on firefox. When I do a printer test. It works fine with their test receipt.

I am on a mac. It just so weird. Other suggestions.

Try the printer again. But, use the Print Preview first. If there is an issue, you can then adjust it.
