The web browser Firefox has always had a Popup blocker built in. This extension is just a toggle.

Sounds like you may have picked up a dose of Malware!

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista if you don't already have one. Windows 8/10 have antivirus protection built-in.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

Please read the article, There are limitations as to what popups the popup blocker is able to block and what it can block without harming a site's normal use.

There are other blockers: ad/script blockers that you can use to block certain scripts and sites etc.

I am not sure what is for possibly for reporting abuse of the mozilla websites, but whatever it is for I doubt it is something that will help you.

When do you get these popups, is it on only one site or various sites, please let us have the site address of the problem sites and the prominent addresses from the popups, along with a screenshot

Please note that only small files are allowed so for example use a .png or .jpeg file that say the Windows snipping tool generates, rather than say a large uncompressed bitmap that a keyboard shortcut may generate. If for some unknown reason that does not work then please post the screenshot somewhere else public and let us have a link to it.

Complaining about popups is unlikely to get you anywhere, sites using popups are likely to be making money out of them and are hardly likely to encourage you to block them.

If we know what your actual problem is maybe we can suggest something that will help you.

I am not sure why you are unable to download a particular add-on, do other add-ons & files download ok ?

ESET ONLINE SCANNER Could not find any thing.

The different tools we list tend to each find different things and some issues are may only be found by one of those tools so it is good practice to try using all of them.

At least it could be good news if ESET found nothing. What about the others? You marked one of my answers as solving this, but as you are still having problems I will remove that marking.
