I think what you want is outside of what Firefox can do. You may have to use a third party program for your passwords.

If the Master Password is turned on, ALL access to the Password Manager requires the master first.

Thank you. I understand that. But you can disable enter master password when you go to the site on which you saved the password? Never request master password except in Preferences-Security-Saved logins

I think what you want to hear is; when you are done at a website, do not sign-out. If you do, the login page will ask for a password. Thus calling the Password Manager, thus asking for the Master Password.

Note: low-security sites like forums, don't need to be signed out because they normally do not have any information usable to hackers. Banks, stores, bill paying and such need to be logged out to prevent another from getting in.

I have a task in the organization of workplaces of employees. It is necessary that the system administrator in advance added passwords to the sites and staff were not able to see or copy passwords. So looking for a solution in the settings :) Maybe somewhere in about:config or some advanced settings.

I have cleared the solved marking for this question so that others see you still need help.

Sorry I am not clear about what you are trying to do. Perhaps you can help me by providing more details of what you need and are trying to do.

Is your question related to Website design and setup ?

You want to use a password yourself and access the website as an administrator, but you want employees to see the site without permission to change the site.

If that is the case then either make the general use of the Website unrestricted or with a different password to yours. Maybe even have individual logins for individual employees. For instance so they can not see other employees confidential data,

I have no idea of the setup you may have many computers and thousands of employees, or you may be a small business with only one or two computers. If the latter case then at least set up the computer so that other general employees do not use your computer account or Your Firefox.

Thanks for trying to help. I will write in detail. We have 10 web developers. All work using the Firefox browser. I want to configure Firefox to Sync bookmarks of job sites, passwords, plugins and settings synced between the developers in their browsers. That's good. I don't want developers to have access to stored passwords. And when you open the "Saved logins" requested password. I was given access to the password (without viewing) with LastPass. I want to ask, is it possible to set a master password to ask password only in the "about:preferences#security - Saved logins"

I do not use Sync. I will remove the solved flag on my previous post. I need to let someone else answer this.

I did think mastrer passwords could not be used in conjunction with Sync. That is what is written in our help article

However I was told that issue was actuakly resolved a few versions ago,

Whatever you are doing I do not understand the purpose of request

. I want to ask, is it possible to set a master password to ask password only in the "about:preferences#security - Saved logins"

You need to know the master passweord to access [Saved Logins] from about:preferences#security IF a master Pasword is in use.

If you do use a Master Password but a third party accesses your Firefpx andf does not have your password, they can not see or use your logins.

it seems you wish others to be able to sign in to sites using your Firefox or a clone of its information, with the same credentials as you use, but then not to be able to see the credentials they use,

Thank you all for the help! :) Might want from Firefox is impossible. I will look for other opportunities to solve the problem. I would have approached the Public Fox plugin, but it unfortunately does not work some functions.
