Isisombululo esikhethiwe

Hi, plug a USB flash drive into your old PC, then open bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Export Bookmarks to HTML, and save them to the flash drive.

Now plug the flash drive into your new PC, then open bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Import Bookmarks from HTML, and import them from your flash drive.

You can instead, just use the Backup and Restore options, but that will overwrite any bookmarks you may already have on the new PC.

See Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer

Export from IE and then Import to Firefox.

In IE: File > Import/Export - Export to HTML file

then in Firefox: Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Import HTML... = From HTML file

Thanks for reply but it did not help. My old Windows 7 computer has firefox. My new Windows 10 computer has firefox. I want to find the firefox favorites on my old computer, and transfer to my new computer. On my new computer, with a just downloaded firefox, I can't find even find the folder that contains the favorites.

Favorites are what they are called in Internet Explorer, just about every other browser out there calls them "bookmarks" as is Firefox.

Old Firefox: Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Export HTML... = to HTML file

New Firefox: Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Import HTML... = From HTML file

Thank you. Problem solved. Roger
