Every time I open my email it has created more files then I care to have / see. I went to Manage folder subscription and uncheck the 2 I don't want. (Bulk Mail & send later) but when I relaunch Thunderbird the files are still there. I click refresh and unsubscribe - nothing works. they always come back.

Send later (or outbox) is necessary for every time a mail cant be sent immediately. Failure to login, offline use, etc.

Bulk Mail (or junk /spam) would build up if you didn't empty it once in a while. In account setup you decide what to do with junk. Junk could also be falsely marked legitimate mail, so you need to check it.

I have 2 other email addresses through Thunderbird and they do not have the Send Later Or Bulk Mail. If it is needed, why only 1 of my emails have it? It should be my decision if I want folders or not anyways

POP3 or IMAP?

Send Later is under Local Folders? You need one if for some reason your mail doesn't get sent. There is an option to send later, useful if you work offline.

In gmail fx you set what you see and not in the setup on the server. (Use webmail to change)

Somehow you must deal with junk. It's there on your server and you must decide. Either you send it to a junk-folder somewhere or you delete it.

For global settings: tools/options/security/junk. For each account tools/account settings/"account"/junk settings. You may also have to unsubscribe or/and delete the folder if its no longer used.

No - Send later is its own folder. Looks just like the ones I create. I delete it but it comes back.

Bulk Mail has a Thunderbird symbol - spam symbol, it comes back also

So what do you expect from me, Have you followed any of my advice and set your settings right?

No? Not under "account" Local folders? It is essential for TB's functions to delay sending and therefore always recreated.

It is (probably) recreated because you haven't told server or client (TB) what rto do with it.

I'm telling you I have 2 other accounts through Thunderbird, they are set up the exact way that this one is set up. Yes I tried what you suggested, if it had worked, I would of clicked the HUGE button that says YES IT WORKED. Unfortunately it did not.

I have a JUNK setting, I dont need a BULK MAIL also.

I dont need send it LATER either folder. I dont work offline and if I did, it will save it in Drafts.

I think these two folders are put there by your email provider. For instance, accounts provisioned by Yahoo usually have a Bulk Mail folder.

Go to your email provider's website to see what (if anything) can be done about them. But bear in mind that spammy messages will be put into Bulk Mail and in my experience, a significant amount of good email gets mis-categorized as spam. I wouldn't be comfortable not inspecting my spam folder from time to time.
