When I installed v38.5.1 I lost my drafts and my sent emails. Is there a way to get them back?

With this installation, I had to start from scratch even when I said No use my account, I had to manually configure since the auto input stuff was all wrong ie POP3, and now I just realized there's no draft folder nor sent folder so I've lost all that content! Is there a way to get that stuff back?

Matt I've been trying this multiple times and can't make it work. Do these instructions work with Windows 10?

I've been trying this multiple times and can't make it work.

What exactly have you tried? The article explains multiple ways to move the profile. Which method did you pick? At which step did you get stuck?

Please be specific. Statements like 'I can't make it work' without any details are not useful.

New device? See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Moving_your_profile_folder_-_Thunderbird

No same device, chose the option to Keep rather than Create New Account. I have Windows 10. I follow the following instructions: Help - Troubleshoot Information - Click on Show Folder - Profile is 0y4idkpn.default Right clicked to see options. Should I choose Restore Previous Versions?
