Firefox crashes in all instances, even in Safe Mode.
Firefox crashes in all instances, including in Safe Mode. I have tried a clean re-install several times. I cannot access the Profile Manager (also get a crash). Notably, there was no "Firefox" folder in the Application Support folder. I've already moved on to Safari but am really just curious what happened. On my last Mac (I bought a new one 2 months ago), if I opened Firefox, it would just continually open a new instance, crash and repeat over and over until my whole computer crashed or I rebooted the whole system. Now, if I quit Firefox, it politely stays put, but still will not ever open. The crash report reads as follows; thanks in advance for your help!:

Try to start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the Options key to see if that helps.
If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that start with "bp-":
- bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
You can find the report ID of recent crash reports on the "Help > Troubleshooting Information" page (about:support).
- click the "All Crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.
Alternatively you can open about:crashes via the location/address bar.

I also tried deleting profiles.ini (I just found it), with no luck. A new profiles.ini was created, but the application still crashes.

For some time now, a lot of Mac’s with Microsoft programs have been crashing. Check with Microsoft / Mac support sites.
