this ocurred when I received a notice that script was paused --- just went back to page after 5 minutes and the cursor works again. Why was this what response do we give when asked continue, debug or (forgot the third). aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! thanks.

If a script error shows up, you should select Stop Script. If you know what you are doing, you could try the other choices.

If the error keep coming back, copy the whole message, and post it here.

You can normally just try to continue the script one or twice. If that doesn't help the you can stop the script to prevent further lock. You shouldn't tick the box to prevent such a warning dialog in the future as that will freeze Firefox and you may have to shutdown Firefox via the Windows Task Manager.
