Hi,

Thanks for your reply, but I doubt flash player is related to do with Java.

And the Java applet crashing within my web browser, I would guess, should not be related my graphics driver, especially since the only update that took place was a firefox update.

In any case, Firefox for some reason launches 2 additional tabs when running the Java Applet (IE does not). Historically, I am used to closing the first tab since it doesn't contain anything except an Oracle logo. However it appears that after the latest firefox update, if this tab is closed, it causes Java to crash.

Therefore, don't close the additional tabs launched by the Java Applet. However, this never happened before, not sure what has changed in the latest version of Firefox for this to now occur?

Thanks

Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Version 19.0.0.226

Note: Windows users should download the ‘’’active_x’’’ for “Internet Explorer,” and the ‘’’plugin’’’ for “Plugin-based browsers” (like Firefox).

Note: Edge on Win10 does not use ActiveX version but its own Flash.
