I'm trying to change password, but am unable to get confirmation of email. Also tried to get confirmation of 'username', but no response to my gmail was received. Tried many times on two different computers, which have been logged onto to my FF account for such a long time that I have forgotten the password. Tnx

Such e-mail is always sent to the address on file with the web site.

Yes, I used the email that is listed for my FF account. (But is that email also my "username"?).

I tried again this morning, clicking on "Did not receive email confirmation". This time I did receive a response. But it said. It seems your account has already been activated."

Next I tried the "My password is not working" and got a password reset response. But when I clicked on the reset link I got this response: "Password reset unsuccessful The password reset link was invalid, possibly because it has already been used. Please request a new password reset."

Perhaps I'm confused about which password I need to reset. I see references to passwords with different names: "sync password" "firefox password" "master password" "support forum password"

Are these separate passwords for different purposes, or merely different names for the same password?

The reason I ask this is because in order to post this question I thought I needed to create a "forum" username and password, using the same email as my FireFox account. It worked and I was able to post this question. (Otherwise, not knowing my FF password, how would I possibly post a question about reseting my FF password?)

So still can't reset my password. Please help. Thanks.
