the installation said the it works well with windows 10. apparently a detailed setup is needed. i designated it as my browser but can't access it to browse the internet.

It may sound stupid but did you text accessing the internet through other browsers? Also, did you have proxy set up on the other browsers to allow internet access from HTTP?

From what I know Firefox needs to assign proxy settings in its own settings. Browser like chrome should be able to inherit settings from IE.
