Hi ksramesh, Sorry you are having problems. This one is slightly unusual and so I can not immediately give you a good answer.

surveygizmo may occasionally be used for some official purposes by Mozilla, but would not be used to link to link to adverts or collect personal information.

That looks as if it could have been used as part of some official survey, however when I follow the link you posted I see an advertisment.

Normally I would suggest you had adware or malware and I would offer advice as in

I will escalate this question so that professional Mozilla staff from Helpdesk will review it as I am concerned about any potential possibility that involvement in official surveys could resulting in adware or leaking of information.

You may need to wait a few days before Helpdesk has time to respond, but please bump this question by posting again (as a reply) if you do not get a response within say 72 hours.

Sorry, a false alarm about the surveys.

You did say you had not installed anything, but even so you appear to have got some malware or adware on your system from somewhere. Mozilla staff have confirmed this is not related to any surveys from Mozilla. (Other than the malware managing to hijack some information from your computer)

You will need to scan with multiple and up to date tools to detect and get rid of this. I have posted a link to our general help article and I will repeat that link, and also post a link to a more specific guide:

Please follow that advice and post back to say how you get on.

I have now removed escalate tag, instead added pre-existing escalate\ tag
