I run an educational centre and want the students to only be able to access one web site on one particular computer particular through Firefox. The computer runs Win XP. Use of this machine is sometimes unsupervised and I want them to only be able to access certain practice material on one specific site.

Note that extensions can easily be bypassed by starting Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift/Options key.

You would have to block access on the operating system level (firewall or possibly proxy or PAC) to be sure that only specific websites can be accessed.
