Firefox constantly crashes
Hello all
I have been using Firefox for years without issue until the last couple of months, when it started crashing seemingly at random. After doing some looking around I figured it could be an issue related to Kaspersky plugins so I removed that and replaced it with Bitdefender. This seemed to work briefly but before long the crashing returned. I have tried refreshing Firefox and disabling add-ons and hardware acceleration to no avail. It has reached the point now where all I have to do is open the browser, leave it unattended for 10 minutes and guaranteed I will come back to a crash report. I really don't want to have to stop using it but at present it is totally unusable. Here is the data from the latest crash report:

If anyone is able to point to an issue or make any suggestions it would be hugely appreciated!

Did this start around the time of Firefox 37? I notice from your crash report that IBM Trusteer Rapport is active (it injects itself into various Firefox processes for your protection). A version from around the time of Firefox 37 caused crashes, so make sure you have the latest update.

Or you might try disabling Rapport for a few hours to see whether it makes any difference.

It was indeed around 37 this started up. To be honest I had forgotten all about Rapport, I installed it a couple of years ago at the urging of my banking website and haven't thought about it since. So I updated it, opened up FF and lo and behold, nearly 24 hours later still no crash, and that's with add ons enabled. Problem solved! I can't thank you enough!
