Home desktop computer using Windows 7 with latest Mozilla 38.0.5. When I visit Gmail.com or Google.com and enter my logon information I get an error message saying "invalid request" and a picture of a broken robot. If I use Internet Explorer on same computer I can log on with no problem. I have tried eliminating cache, cookies, history, rebooting and using Mozilla in "safe mode" - no effect. I have tried removing and reinstalling Mozilla - no effect. I use Postbox as email manager and it can access/retrieve Gmail with no problem - same goes for my various android device ---- issue is isolated to direct logon using Mozilla from home computer.

Also - I have an old Mozilla data file on my desktop - not sure whether this is relevant or not.

Any assistance appreciated

You mentioned that you use Postbox to manage your mail. Does the add on need to be installed in order to access the mail in Firefox?

For example, if the data was reset/refreshed recently, the add on may have been removed and put into that file called "Old Firefox Data". The add on can either be set up again or you can import the old data into Firefox

Thanks for your reply .. but I believe the answer is no. I can't access Gmail using Mozilla with or without add-ons.
