How to delete Send Link which is blocking the send link on gmail
My server doesn't encrypt, so send link thru thunderbird or firefox not set up. However, hitting send link via gmail chrome is overridden by thunderbird. I get the smpt.i-cable.com (my lousy server). Chrome's send link used to work perfectly but only this comes up now, telling me to check my settings. I tried deleting Thunderbird and failed but seem to have lost heaps of data anyway. Have not been able to uninstall T. Finally did seem to uninstall Firefox. Because my server doesn't encrypt, I can't set gmail as my email as they will lower my security settings. I would like to keep both Firefox and Thunderbird, but without it blocking the Chrome send link. I also cannot send emails thru T anymore. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Yidam

has it occurred to you that Chrome might be the problem and removing it will fix the problem?
If that is the case it is a question for Chrome support. Given that Chrome is a Product of Google and so is Gmail I am sure they will know all about what is going on.

I solved my problem of sending links by returning to the server settings I used previously as I had not ceased paying for that server. I had deleted Firefox previously, which turned out to have been unnecessary. There was no need to contact gmail (chrome), although that was a valid suggestion. Thank you for your time............
