i accidentally refereed my email id as  rgautamkrishna@gmail.com when i
contacted my Mozilla rep for the badge. the rep is the one who awarded me
the badge,

I had actively participated in  the Maker party Kochi and demonstrated many
mozilla webmaker tools. You can contact the rep for more details. I think
it is some error with the webmaker site. I was awarded the badge by the
rep. when the rep asked me my email id to award me the badge, i
accidentally said my e mail id as RGAUTAMKRISHNA@GMAIL.COM
i think the webmaker is recognizing r.gautamkrishna@gmail,com and

RGAUTAMKRISHNA@GMAIL.COM as different ids. Actually they both are the same.

*I will explain what had happened:*
I already had a webmaker account earlier. Its username I chosen was 'gkr'.
On demonstrating the webmaker tools to the people at the maker-party I
clicked on persona sign in button in the webmaker website. I had
accidentally entered my e mail id as RGAUTAMKRISHNA@GMAIL.COM when I
clicked sign In, I got enter your password box. I successfully logged in
using my previous password.
But after the sign in completion, I was actually surprised. The webmaker is
asking me to great a new username.( I already have a webmaker account and
its username is "gkr". I also have some makes). But I thought that's some
error so I just tried to entered 'gkr'. But the site refused it. It says that
that username is not available. So I just entered "gautamkrishnar" as the
username. I am now successfully logged in with new username. I had
demonstrated the webmaker to audiences.....
Now when i tried to receive my badge via https://webmaker.org/user/gkr I
cant get it.
so i logged out and signed in by using RGAUTAMKRISHNA@GMAIL.COM i can see
my badge their. but actually it was not my profile. its url is

https://webmaker.org/user/gautamkrishnar

So i deleted that profile..

What should i do to get my badge to my account https://webmaker.org/user/gkr

?

Hi Gautham, According to gmail its same, but according to webmaker its different, try to use single id.

Ask Gautham raj to send the Mentor badge to the Webmaker Email ID.

He said that he can't award the badge to me because the site is saying that"you can't award the badge to the same person again". What to do?

Just give me sometime, all of them are busy in Mozfest.

Will file a bug regarding this and get back to you. Make sure your using the same email id forever without any changes.
