I have windows 7 on a new computer and when I try to send a link it goes to my gmail account instead of outlook. This is a new computer. On my old computer with the same operating system the email link button opens my outlook account so I can send the link. Cannot understand why it works on old computer but not new one.

Try to go in Firefox Options > Applications tab, then find "mailto" as a content type, and make sure this is set on Outlook instead of Gmail.

To find the correct solution to your problem, we need some more non-personal information from you. Please do the following:

  1. Use ONE of these methods to open the Firefox Troubleshooting Information page:
