Some of these problems occur because Firefox wasn't installed correctly. Make sure you have restarted your computer after installing Firefox. Also, what download manager are you using? The problem might have to do with the specific download manager you are using, so I might be able to find out more if I know the specific download manager you are using.

Try this:
- Download the full Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop
