I get a popup all the time whenever I use Firefox. The site is http://www.hpdtsr.com/sc?p=YTIwMzA2Njc2NzSTPc8lsh8UKaXKm%2FEbKP8c8ybv6hzduqlDbO%2FlZCqwEdeyFLFcdtXuOJO8GklJwZgL3JUpiT%2F07N7eN7xgalTzX7D56AumegX9fGqLoEsCKDvNI%2FEeMJshOuIA51pAHFGf31a8tY4SBCSNzVJl5M9NbeZYmMezwTsxk1ydeMIV4HoyjAlnHUasyrURf9jwqkrCnTA3b6A8mAIDRyvJSw0QWD8TgKdARMIyIBoDvtxqNNr%2FxLCvF2%2BETGEvmPUTeAX4We7CA9z3Ssytys6Gim5N2d7%2F5DJexDMVKkT%2FCYOyImBplrWr4NHaD8R8fyoETOSO%2Fxy%2BOGJ72WXbhtKw5Oo66AiY6HRKpnsDxDbUtWL7Xw%3D%3D&t=1 The most annoying part is that it has a message that says it cannot find the website. Why am I getting a popup for a website that my browser cannot even find?! I have tried EVERYTHING I know to do. I've cleaned out my cookies, installed malware, and I've been on this site several times, trying whatever I think will help. NOTHING has. I do know, however, it only happens on Firefox. It does NOT happen on Explorer or Chrome. If I cannot resolve this, I suppose my only option is to use one of those instead.

Thank you for your question. Help Desk here and we are happy to help and collaborate. Please run the multiple security scans to see if this makes a difference.

When I tried to visit the url it redirected to http://rcbullion.com/uni2.php Is is possible to use your add on to block this site and turn on the blocking of all pop ups in the Firefox > Options/Preferences > Content > "Block pop ups"

Can you please also try Safe Mode, to see if it actually is an add on causing this by Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode

[Pronoun] can investigate further with the result of these troubleshooting steps, thank you!

I imagine it will turn out to be malware. Possibly it is something new and at present targeting only Firefox.

I de linkified the link in your post but anyone wishing to risk trying it may cut and paste the link. Maybe it links to a compromised site.

Do multiple scans with up to date tools. Post back with what you have tried and the results. I have escalated this question as we have had problems with popups being seen on Firefox lately and staff are interested in solving the problem.

Thanks for including the Troubleshooting information by the way, not that I saw anything obviously wrong in there.

Suggestions to try

I do not have the malware. I downloaded all the suggested utilities and they showed none. I tried troubleshooting in safe mode, and I think it was a gaming extension that was causing my problem. The popups have stopped since I disabled it. I'm not even sure why I have that extension, because I only play games on Facebook.

Thank you so much for the help. I really appreciate it. I thought I was going to have to delete Firefox in order to "fix" my problem. I am glad that your suggestions worked.

cashewnpeanut. Thanks for posting back. Glad to know that you have solved the problem.

What was the gaming extension that you disabled ?

If you have disabled rather than uninstalled it you will still have details of what it was, can you give us those details or maybe a sceenshot of the addons page showing that extension.
