How do I change my security to "medium" on my Mac so I can upload to the U.S. Copyright office?

Fredaskednow

The US Copyright office Website states I should change my Firefox security setting to 'medium' to enable me to upload files I am registering for a copyright. How do I do this? Thanks for your guidance--just want to successfully complete this and launch my new book.

Those instructions sound like they are for Internet Explorer, not Firefox. Have you actually tried to upload? did it fail? What error message did you receive?

I have used the Copyright Office's eCO system in Firefox on Windows without any complications that I remember. You may need to allow popups or Flash in order to get the media uploader to work. Usually Firefox will display a notification if a popup or plugin is blocked and you can click to allow it. Sometimes you may need to reload the page or close and relaunch the window after that.

Good luck with your filing!

Thanks guys. Followed your advice and all files uploaded flawlessly. Excellent help--greatly appreciated!
