Roboform will probably have an update ready for Firefox 30 when Firefox 30 is actually released, if not sooner. No need to turn off automatic updates right now.

This is due to you using a Beta build of Firefox 30.0 and not the Release. The Beta build of Firefox 30.0 is at 30.0b5 at moment.
Applications that provide a toolbar generally only support the current Firefox Release at most and not the development channel builds like Beta, Aurora and Nightly.
The latest version of Firefox is 29.0.1 and even then Roboform may not be updated for Firefox 29 yet still.

Sooo..I should not be on the beta release then...how do I get off that and go on release only ? The odd thing is that it was working perfectly this morning and there was no update of either FF or RF ??! What version of FF do yu think I should use then ? Please send me a link for whatever version will work....HELP !
For Betas there can often be anywhere from six to twelve builds for a version so things can change either intentionally or a regression due to a checkin(s) sometimes.
To get back on Release channel you install the Release. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
The fact that it still worked until the recent 30.0b5 update may have been by luck as Firefox 30.0 will not be released until June 10.
YAY !! THAT WORKED !! RF is back !! I am now on FF 29.0.1 and have unchecked auto updates...thanks for your help ! I am thinking i will upgrade to 30 when FF 31 is out !!
