Windows 10; Firefox 141.0

According to the "View recent browsing across windows and devices" command:

"Window 2 is current" and there is "Window 1" (which contains recent work)

My question(s):

How can I switch from window 2 (current) to window 1 (recent work)? and/or How can I combine both windows?

I use Firefox instead of apps for everything. And do often have 5-10 tabs open. Phone: poco x7 pro 8GB Android: 16 This problem is not present in my older phone.(Android 13) It clears the tabs, whenever Firefox is sent to the background. That means all the tabs have to be reloaded. That means battery consumption, data consumption, delay, losing my place in videos ( I watch YouTube on Firefox too) . I am willing to do anything short of rooting the phone.

The setting works...in the way that if i quit Firefox, it'll not continue from the tabs and windows, but if i reboot my pc and open Firefox, I find myself the same place i stopped...even though i have that setting disabled. I found someone else with same issue on reddit and i did the same restarting the browser and refreshing and all....all to no effect.

About background website lists..Displaying the number of pages box makes it difficult to browse and I suggest placing colorful, easily selectable lists after the number of pages box list.

This isn't a feature I ever needed or ever wanted. More than often, I accidentally group two or more tabs and have no idea how to ungroup them (yes, I know, there's some about:studies where I can remove stuff from grouped, BUT it's not a good mitigation). Firefox has been a great browser for decades. This new "feature" is rather disturbing than helpful. I understand some folks might need it, but please, at least provide a way to OPT OUT. Thank you!

my top bar comes up with dozens of internet pages trying to load when I open any internet page. Have not made any changes to anything. Pita to delete a dozen items trying to load every time I open Firefox. How do I turn that off? Tried looking for way to do that for hours and found nothing.

I want the browser's tab bar to display like the homepage, instead of disappearing after opening a webpage tab bar. I don't know if I can accurately express my meaning, but I will attach two pictures

So I just try Firefox and I want to know if it have something like auto hide tab and I found your article on how to do this but it didn't show up on private tab or on the setting

Firefox has a feature where, if you select a tab and drag your cursor downwards while still pressing down on it, it will open that tab in a new window. Is there any way to disable this? I am frequently opening tabs in new windows when I'm just trying to view them and it drives me mad. I never use this feature intentionally- I am constantly using on accident due to quickly moving my cursor away from the tab bar to view the tab I just opened. Thank you.

This code in mozilla.cfg used to overwrite new tab, but as of latest firefox 136.0b1 no longer works. Any way to fix this? There error in Browser Console.

Up until now, if I search using the Wikipedia field on the menu bar, it opened in a new tab, just like using Startpage does. I've just upgraded to Fedora 43 and Firefox 146.0 (64 bit) and it's stopped doing that, although Startpage still does. How can I get that functionality back?

I just updated to 148.0 and now can't find a way to open a second window. I've searched for options since it's not coming up clicking the icon in my taskbar, or any other place indicated. Mac IOS

Por algum motivo, meu firefox está abrindo conforme a página inicial configurada, contudo, sempre deixei para retornar com as guias que ficam em aberto e por algum motivo, meu firefox bloqueou a opção de abrir já com as guias da sessão anterior.

Não sei se é coincidência, mas está acontecendo após esta ultima atualização (19-05-2026), alguém mais está com este problema?

Minha alternativa será abrir minhas páginas todas novamente, e configurar para o firefox pegar as URLs como pagina inicial padrão...
