When I use Firefox on Samsung DeX, a blank and big box appears under the address bar. This box disappears when I place the address bar on the bottom. Switching back to the top brings the box back. What might be causing this?

I didn't intentionally do anything to either Firefox or bitwarden but, today, the bitwarden extension suddenly no longer works. I got an error saying that I must use Firefox for Android which is, of course, what I'm using. Wifi? But, I can't get back to that screen to take a screenshot.

Google Lens type camera in mobile and pc search engines and browsers. I got on my Android phone Firefox browser shortcut and Google's, Googles's has a camera next to the mic than when you click it it gives 2 options to take and analyze, search photo, or use for same reason a photo from gallery. Will Firefox ad this type of feature on mobile and pc? And the magnifying glass is ai search.

How to use samsung pass to fill in passwords and addresses instead of using Firefox fill, i have a ton of passwords in samsung pass. But i want to switch fully from Chrome to firefox, when i was using chrome it had an option to use samsung pass in settings how can i do that in Firefox?

When accessing only specific web pages, the screen freezes during loading. Backing, refresh, etc., are not working at all. The only way is to close the tab. I'm curious about the solution.

I love firefox mobile, however there is one element that drives me absolutely crazy while using it. I want to use the Homepage Shortcuts feature because I like the idea of pinning my most frequently used sites for easy access when I launch a new tab. HOWEVER the shortcuts screen decides that its a great idea to just list every website I have browsed on it. This is completely abysmal and clutters it up. It makes me shut this feature off completely and just use a black empty screen as my new tab page. Turning off the recently visited toggle makes ZERO difference. Please for the love of God fix this awful design decision and put the power of our homepage and new tab page back into the hands of the users. The sponsored ad thing was bad enough but maybe if people had more control of every aspect of what they get to see they might actually use the Homepage Shortcuts instead of disabling it entirely.

For some reason, I had to restore my tablet's apps. Updating FF was the only option that I had. I have no idea which version I have because the interface is sorely lacking in ready info.

I don't like it at all and want to revert. I am not at all certain which earlier version I had. I think 68 but which iteration I have no clue.

Suggestions, please.

Also, do you know what size is the maximum mini/micro sd card based on my specs?

Example: Clicked on a link in a emai from THIS GROUP trying to answer this problem. The responses did not fit so I hit the back button and again got the Fastmail.has stopped working screen.

I'm currently migrating my Android automation setup (using uiautomator2) from Chrome to Firefox because Chrome frequently drops the accessibility tree. However, I've run into a specific issue regarding how Firefox handles external app intents via JavaScript redirects.

Scenario: A webpage opens a new tab and executes the following script to redirect the user: window.location.href = "https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cad=rja&url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLh5orBSaS4";

Expected Behavior (What Chrome does): Chrome detects the YouTube link, automatically triggers the intent to open the native YouTube Android app, and closes that redirect tab.

Actual Behavior (What Firefox does): Firefox simply navigates to m.youtube.com within the browser tab and does not open the native YouTube app.

Additional Context:

I have the "Open links in apps" setting enabled in Firefox settings, but it doesn't seem to trigger for this specific window.location.href redirect.

Because I rely on uiautomator2 for my workflow, having Firefox trap the link inside the browser instead of handing it off to the YouTube app breaks the automation chain.

Is there a known workaround, or perhaps a specific flag in about:config (I can use Firefox Beta/Nightly if needed) to force Firefox Android to respect the deep link/intent and open the native app for this type of redirect?

My firefox updated and it completely changed the look of the app, now it is ugly and unusable. How do i make the browser tool bar look like it did before? I need to have the back and forward buttons available next to URL, THAT IS LITERALLY THE ONLY REASON I PREFERRED THIS APP. How do I get the back and dorward buttons back and make the url bar easier to read like it was before gv 0

Some sites, this one in particular https://9gag.com, are taking several minutes to load. This only happens when the site is left opened in while I switch to a different tab or app.

It doesn't happen in Chrome.

Text in certain languages is rendered as boxes. If I copy this text and paste it in other applications/see the clipboard, the text is perfectly visible over there. Also, if I turn off advanced protection the text becomes visible on Firefox. This wasn't the case earlier, keeping advanced protection on would still render text. Happening since long, so don't have track for version history and when started to happen. Firefox (general release) on Android. Tried on other devices too, was able to replicate, thus not device specific.

I have Firefox set as my default. When I need to get a library book using Libby, that app takes me to Amazon.com through my default browser. I have been unable to login to check out the books. It asks for the email or phone number and when I select the next step, it clears it and shows that same page again. Now, to get my library books, I must change my default browser to Chrome, check out the book and then change it back.

I cleared cache then cleared data. Neither option changed the outcome.

When downloading content from sites especially large files on some occasion it splits creating new files instead of 1 Example : downloading file.zip 30 gb file File.zip 19gb File.zip 7gb File.zip 4gb They get split instead of a single file

While on a webpage, changing to a different app on mobile sometimes causes the whole browser to bug, blanking out the page and refusing to load. Sometimes when this happens, waiting a while will allow the page to load, but often i have to clear cache for it to work.
