Few days ago I downloaded something, but canceled it from the notification. Now a notification with the headline "Downloads" and the file name below keeps popping up every half an hour or so, when Firfox is closed or in the background. I can't click on it and restart it.

Seriously, this is 2024 not 2004. Fuck your message board help system that offers no help to a problem of lost data. No way to get live help. Then, logging in to ask for help forces you through all these pages that route you away from where you're trying to get help.

Nothing about this process is use intuitive and it's certainly not helpful.

I regret coming back to Firefox. Fuck you for losing my data you pos devs.

Is there any way to change file name before downloading?

As the title says, is there a way to edit file's name before downloading it? Any extension or anything? As in, e.g I'd like to download a photo but change it's file name … (閱讀更多)

As the title says, is there a way to edit file's name before downloading it? Any extension or anything? As in, e.g I'd like to download a photo but change it's file name before I do so, so I don't have to go into files app on my phone in order to modify it. (Sorry if it's easy to do and I just can't find it but I'm super new to Mozilla and used Opera Mobile before, which had that option, so I'm used to it)

How to change where downloaded items go?

I am on Android Firefox and I accidentally chose "Always" on the pop-up asking where I want my downloaded items to go. I want to change it because where the files are now… (閱讀更多)

I am on Android Firefox and I accidentally chose "Always" on the pop-up asking where I want my downloaded items to go. I want to change it because where the files are now sent is inconvenient at best but i cannot find such an option to change my preference in either the Firefox settings bar nor my phone's device settings.
