Firefox replaced data on uploaded files with user information

I used firefox to upload a 7z file into a website. Some time later I was reported the 7z file was returning CRC errors when decompressing. After downloading it from the website and comparing it against the original 7z (raw byte comparison) file I discovered a large section of the file, near the bottom, was replaced.
However the worst part is not that the file was corrupted but that the data inserted on the file contains user information. On thie section I found several strings matching all sorts of things:
- URLs I have recently visited
- Search bar history (searches I have recently done on google)
- Login details saved on my firefox
- part of pages I have recently visited
Is this a known issue? This is a big deal for me and I will stop using firefox until this is fixed.
I am using 60.0.1 (64-bit) over win8.1.

The password to my mail is in the saved passwords of the browser and will be available after synchronization, and I can not confirm the attempt to enter through the email. There used to be an input without confirmation of the login attempt and I had no problems, now I can not synchronize and gain access to my synchronization. Please help to solve the problem

I contacted their support and they said that it is a problem of browser,a nd they told me that perhaps it has come time to use another browseer, e.g. Chrome... I told 'em that it wasn't a good answer and that I cannot realize that the issue where from a browser instead than from a site which would be as much crossbrowser as possible. I have a local web site on my computer and have updated the hosts file to be able to use the site on 127.0.0.1
I can connect to this without any problem using Waterfox but not Firefox. I have already checked that there is no firewall problem and my internet security software - Comodo - is not blocking Firefox. I have tried in safe mode without any success. I have already gone through the suggestions given in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can
If I try to connect directly to "localhost", it connects, but my site requires the use of the correct url.
Is this a known problem ?

On the 19th of March, for some reason, i started to receive the error: the bookmarks and history system will not be functional because on of firefox's files are in use by another application.
Solutions i've tried:
-Creating a new database (solution 2 when clicking on the 'Learn more' button) -safe mode booting (problem still persists) -running chkdsk and memory diagnostics (no problems) -uninstalling and reinstalling -ive also tried to system restore but i get an error 0x81000204 so I wasnt able to restore it.
I dont really care about my bookmarks, but my history contains some important reference links I need.
I run Windows 8.1pro with what seems to be the most up to date Firefox.

We are facing one issue in our application. The UI design of this application is breaking when we accessed it via Mozilla firefox browser.
It is working fine in other browsers. We have done a research on this issue and below are the findings we got.
1. When checked the response content using developer tools it was found that the response header has “server” value “Microsoft-HTTPAPI/2.0” instead of “Microsoft-IIS/8.5”. All the javascript/css/images file requests to server are returning with 400 bad request.
2. On further research we have done on this behavior we found that it is something related to HTTP.SYS API component in IIS. We got some related information on this issue from one of the official Microsoft documentation given in below link.
Above said things are the case when we accessed this application in desktop. This application is actually intended to use in mobile devices as well. So below are the behavior of application when accessed in Mozilla browser in Mobile devices.
1. In Apple IPad, it is working fine when taken in Mozilla firefox.
2. In Android device (Mobile/IPad) it is exhibiting same issue explained above when taken in Mozilla firefox browser.

I have already tried: - Put new Firefox portable - the same issue - Close other tabs - Disable EMET for Firefox - Prevent accessibility services from accessing your browser set to True - Security.sandbox.content.level set to 2 - Disable add-ons plugins and start in safe mode
Nothing of above helps. I would appreciate If you could provide the solution. I attached Troubleshooting information.

I had 3 windows that I only actually have one window that had about 15 tabs the other two windows opened because of what I was working on. I carefully (or so I thought) closed the 2 windows with only one tab and then closed the window with the 15 tabs. But now of course I am only able to open one window with one tab. Is there something in the security certificate from a website support server, such as provided by "Tera-byte", that tells me which certificate authority company certified their security certificate? They claim their certificate to be self signed, but both Firefox and Internet Explorer reject connection because their certificate does not comply to RFC 5280, Their certificate expired on Friday, June 30, 2006, 2:09 PM.
They are adamant that their certificate is in compliance and valid, in spite of the help I got from Microsoft in evaluating their certificate.

i'm developing a site that already exists in production, that site has an SSL certificate with some chain that i dont really know about. for developing purposes it was given to us one certificate of another machine(basic copy paste of tomcat with everything atached, as in previous tests they made in 2014) for a while i was able to simply add an security exception to my localhost, dev and test environmetns but now i just keep getting this "error: sec_error_revoked_certificate". and i cannot bypass this neither resolve until the responsible team give me an apropriate certificate.
i cleaned firefox cache (first just deleted "cert8.db), doesn't worked, so cleared everything re-installing firefox, changed optins as :
security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling to false server check OCSP to false
my browser is Firefox 58.0.2 (64-bit)

After opening yahoo.com and checking my emails, an annoying ad popped up purportedly from my internet provider congratulating me on winning a $25.00 prize if I filled out a user questionnaire. Of course, I didn't fill out the questionnaire, and a call to the internet provider confirmed that they were not responsible for the ad, and that this was probably a phishing attempt. I attempted to block and cleanse the malware with Malwarebytes without success. It seems the malware in buried in the MozillaFirefox program files on my computer. The malware does not appear if I login to yahoo.com on an alternative browser like MS Explorer. How do I locate and permanently erase this popup ad malware from my computer?
