How can I change Firefox so I can do the Recaptcha to get my mail at Yahoo?

Every time I go to Yahoo.com and try to sign into my mail accounts, I get the Recaptcha. It may ask me to click on all cars in the pictures. When I do that I notice the "Continue" button is superimposed on the pictures of the cars and then when I try to click on the "Continue" button, I get a circle with a diagonal slash mark through it. Yahoo won't help me with this until I pay money. This problem started when their pay for phone tech program started. Please help!

Old problem re-emerging, mysterious crashes out of the blue, error comes up IPC browser error when tabs no longer respond. How can one deal with this without completely closing tabs which one is working ? This is a wretched nuisance. Is this a Win8.1 KB update issue or related to FF ? It is getting a nuisance to reload FF 60.1 when this happens; point to make is program simply isn't stable to use anymore. Can't be the only one suffering from all this.
FF and IE (but not chrome) display all pages like i would expect 20 yrs old browser to, probably no css, although addons work, can Win reinstall be avoided?

colors are always basic and no css buttons are displayed. most sites are unusable. google main page text box is lagging. windows 8.1. i'm not exactly layman and have reinstalled FF 2 times, including deletion of all data folders and registry entries, before i realized the problem is deeper (that IE11 doesn't work neither - note that chrome uses a different engine or setting and works just fine). Either some windows component is bugged, or some setting has been accidentally changed, and i can't find it. Been checking accessibility options (nothing checked), page style (basic), scanning for viruses, doing stupid things advised around the web to no avail. i guess either my FF/IE think i'm on some primitive device (whereas i'm on a desktop pc), or they neglect CSS for some reason.
i had problems posting this question from FF so i'm posting it from chrome - i guess it's useless to try the troubleshooting information button. there is no dependence on FF version. i can try posting again if this info is critical.

When starting my computer I get a strange message (do I permit the app to make changes) where I have to choose between answering "yes" or "no" to something I don't understand. Answering "no" my computer stops working but continues when answering "yes". Even your Firefox icon gets an application in form of a coat of arms with four fields in yellow and blue. This is very annoying, please help me to get rid of this.

Uninstalled/reinstalled FF and Adobe Flash does not help.

Nothing happens if Firefox is running for first time since computer was started and user logged in. 4. If you close Firefox or restart it via console, then it all starts working and opens .html with no problem. 5.
