Is it possible to get rid of the sidebar section at the bottom part of the vertical tabs completely? If so how? Or is it simply not available to get rid of it completely?

I tried to turn off "Show sidebar" in settings, but then it defaults back to "Horizontal Tabs" instead of sticking with "Vertical Tabs", and switching back to "Vertical Tabs" will turn on "Show sidebar" again. And using the sidebar settings/"Customize Sidebar", there doesn't seem to be an option to get rid of it.

I have a document that allows me to extend the page for supporting information. However when I move the up/down bar the original document moves but there is no way to move up/down the supporting page.

Hi, I use Firefox all of the time, and I noticed that the wallpapers were given an update of more choices for the user.

That's good and all, but I began thinking about the widgets that are optional when customizing your default Firefox home/new tab. Weather, shortcuts, and stories. All very simple, rudimentary uses, but nothing for fun, like, say, a little Firefox fox that can live at the bottom of your home browser!

Like something akin to a Pou or a Tamagotchi, With food and water on one side of the bottom of your home, bed in the middle, and a little hamster wheel for it to run on. You could click on it and it plays a little animation, or you can click and drag it to either activity previously mentioned and watch it interact.

I just think it'd be fun to have a more "silly" widget for customization on our home pages, while being entirely toggle-able like the other additions.

Hello, a recurring problem that's been bothering me for several months is driving me crazy, causing me to use Firefox less and less.

I regularly get the dreaded message "Error: Platform version xxx is not compatible with xxxx," which seems to have been around for years and still hasn't been fixed. Rebooting, reinstalling, or repairing the installation with every automatic update isn't a solution; it's just a nuisance.

I cannot get the free VPN to turn on. It keeps looping me back to sign in and then tells me to turn it on and then it loops back to the sign in and continues to loop

When I try to setup my home page to be something other than the Firefox default the page never loads. Also, if I try to go to the page without it being my home page, it never loads. I can open that website on other bowers, also other websites seem to load in Firefox, but slowly. The webpage I want to use is www.aldaily.com.

I have searched on-line and performed the actions that are suggested - i.e. clearing cache, cookies, restarting the computer, restarting my router. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Firefox, nothing seems to work.

I would like to get some suggestions from you as to what I should try.

Hey hey So On my old system I logged into my FF account did 7 syncs just in case whi all were telling that I'll have all of my stuff right away but.... I reinstalled Windows and... installed Firefox and got freaking 00000000 zeeeero tabs or passwords synced.... All of the manual attemps of sync got nothing, absolutely nothing!? So what was the point of online account which does nothing and just give a fake faith??? I would rather do cp -r of local foler as I did for the last 20 years.... But this time I was faked with fake "sync all good" which doesn't work and just fake people

Firefox has been automatically updated on Windows 11 and Tahoe, and now every time I close the browser, all tabs close – even the pinned ones – despite the ‘Open previous windows and tabs’ option being selected at startup.

recently for no apparent reason, Firefox is having extreme difficulty loading sites, with the spinning wheel going on for minutes at a time. It seems to happen with any website, but not with other browers. I have checked for malware with 3 different programs, and disabled the vpn. Other suggestions online seem to be 'for experienced users only', which does not include me. What should I do. Do I need to delete and reinstall Firefox? thanks.

How is this possible earlier it performed normaly. But sinds this week I can't watch TV on my laptop under firefox it keeps telling me SORRY THERE SEEMS SOMETHING WRONG And when I try it under EDGE it performs normaly. I want it back under FIREFOX please
