Hello! About two weeks ago I opened up Firefox, and found that certain - well most - websites got switched to a very dark mode that broke the website. Websites like Joann had all the background as black and when searching I could only see what was brought up when I moused over the option. The Chell in the Rain website is completely black when part of the appeal is the artwork. Youtube? Black. Libby? Black. Accuweather? Black. Google Docs... that's actually fine.

I don't mind dark mode, but it's broken how several of these websites work.

at the very top of firefox browser are 3 rows...the highest row is the list of open tabs.....the middle row is the address bar itself with various icons....the lowest row which is the third row begins with 'import bookmarks' 'getting started' and then various website suggestions.

that 3rd row takes up space and has no useful functionality for me .....i've tried changing the settings but i can't alter it... is there a harmless way to eliminate that third row? thanks

Chrome and edge have "apps" that let me make websites into separate windows and treat much like apps. I can do this for my calendar, notes, and timer websites, for instance. I have yet to find a feature like this for Firefox. Does it exist? Is there a roadmap where this is being worked on?

Where are the patches/updates for this vulnerability located on the Mozilla homepage?

How can I revert my sync data to what I had been using on my newer computer, following the use of an old outdated computer ? My bookmarks, passwords et al. have reverted to the old data.

I have tried to turn off sync on the older machine that I rarely use. There are many bookmarks that I need to recover now on the new machine. I had everything selected to sync to the newer data on the older machine, but it would not sync. Now my new machine shows the the old data!

When using an email "button" on a website to contact the owner, the email composition box that pops up always fills in the From line with my iCloud email address. How do I change that (permanently) to a different account?

I've got an issue on several websites in 115b2 (but it's been an issue since at least 112) where Firefox inserts a bunch of
after a single newline. I've tried toggling editor.use_div_for_default_newlines, which had fixed this back in 92 when set to false. But now, true or false, I'm getting a bunch of line breaks when I'm not expecting them. This is only an issue in Firefox, Chrome/Edge does not have this behavior when using WYSIWYG editors. I can go back into the editor and clean out the additional line breaks without them being resubmitted, though.

we have 2 account sign-in, my browser opens in maximized full screen, however my wife's browser opens in minimized tab on upper left window and she has to press the maximized icon to get to full screen. Could you please advise how I can correct this nuisance.

Two questions, please

1) My Firefox ANT add-on extension apparently has a file "time limit" set to greater than 2 minutes. In other words, if I try to download a file online that is 2 minutes or less in time (i.e.- an audio file), the ANT application does see recognize or allow it. Is there a way to change this so that any file, regardless of time, can be downloaded?

2) Whenever I open Firefox, a Mozilla Policy File also opens in a second tab. Is there a way to stop this from happening every single time? It's VERY annoying!

Firefox 114.0, Windows 11 Home Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621 , 1Password-4.6.2.626 extension

Today, for reasons unknown, my 1Password extension, (an old and non-updatable version that I've used for many, many years), is non-responsive. The icon still resides in the Tool Bar, Windows ToolTips "sees" it as "1Password", but clicking on the icon has no effect. The extension is shown as Enabled in Firefox's Manage Your Extensions page.

I think I've tried all the "usual" things here: rebooted the computer, uninstalled and re-installed the extension and rebooting, checked the setting in 1Password itself to see that it's associated with "Mozilla Firefox 114.0", (the program still opens fine outside the browser).

This seems to be related to Firefox 114.0. On my other computer with the same Windows 11 version but using Firefox 113.0.1 had no problem with 1Password, but as soon as Firefox updated to 114.0 the same problem with 1Password appeared.

Anything that I might be able to do to get 1Password working?

In the last month Firefox using google search simply refuses to search, this is becoming annoying to the point where I will start using other browsers. Is there a fix for this?
