Where are all of my saved passwords?

after upgrading to firefox saved passwords have gone

...even though the settings are exactly the same as the other laptops everyone in the group. Why are these bugs not disclosed ? One set of problems exchanged for another -- reminds me of Microsoft 'upgrades'. Whatever happened to the post about Addon icons spontaneously disappearing ? Another release bug ? And then there was the "Bookmarks vertical spacing not optimized", which promulgated a response soliciting me to, "...describe the problem...". Quite a unique experience. For us.
opened computer... all passwords to sites are gone including email on computer.
