When two or more tabs are open, it works fine. Any ideas on how to get these to work properly together?

Now, the screen is really wide enough, the height is not enough, One line URLBAR is not necessary

Use Userchrome to implement urlbar-container and TabsToolbar are on the same line

Upgrading FIREFOX to 65.0 is a bit of a problem because TabsToolbar is in titlebar and urlbar is in nav-bar.

Hopefully, urlbar-container can be moved to Tabs Toolbar like a button, which is simple, the previous version(<20.x) is possible.

After updating to Firefox 65 (Mac), there is now this enormous green drop-down that appears whenever I start typing in the address bar, and I cannot turn this thing off.

I've looked in Preferences > Privacy & Security > Address Bar, and all the selections there are unchecked. Search > Default Search Engine > Provide Search Selections is also unchecked.

Is there something in about:config I need to toggle? Or will I have to edit my userChrome.css to turn this off?

just installed the latest current Firefox update which has reverted my tabs to the top rather than below my bookmarks toolbar.

suffice to say this is rather annoying as changing the "browser.tabs.onTop" setting in the about:config which l originally did doesnt work any more l did find a userchrome.css file as well that said it would do it on this site but alas my tabs are still above the address bar and not below the bookmarks toolbar where l want them. any help to resolve this would be greatly appreciated due to the most recent update causing them to revert back to the top.

Hello, For quite a while I was using a custom UserChrome.css that removed minimize\maximize\close buttons from the tab bar. It looked like this:

But after latest update (to Firefox 65 I believe) the app doesn't recognize the code in UserChrome.css.

I understand from Fx 65 change notes there were some changes to how Firefox parses css, isn't it?

What should I do to make UserChrome.css work?

I would appreciate any other method of removing minimize\maximize\close buttons from the tab bar if it isn't doable with UserChrome.css now.

With the newest Firefox, when I type in the address of where I want to go, the bar drops down and gives me all kinds of search and suggestions...I DON'T WANT THIS. I know where I want to go. How can I get rid of this area. See photo.

The latest FF 65 moved the tabs to the top, where they should not be. The old css workaround doesn't work, and all of the "new" fixes I've tried on my iMac IOS v. 10.13.6 either don't work or put the tabs bar ON TOP of the bookmarks bar. The tabs should be connected to the window they pertain to. Can someone please help me figure this out? I'm not a programmer and really don't want to be, but I really can't stand having the tabs at the top. Thanks for any help.

I have been through numerous support pages and nothing helps, did a few about config changes as listed but still it appears. One post said it has always been there, I can assure you I never had this before and do not want it now. Is there any way to stop it please as I hate it even though just clicking removes it, I would prefer not to have it in the first place

After the program setting somehow changed Firefox did an unwanted update, now any time I try to go to troubleshooting it crashes the program. Not the system just Firefox.

I use Firefox 65 on Windows 10 computer. Since Feb 9 i used instructions found in Answers to the "How to use userChrome.css to move Tabs to the bottom" Question, to: - adjust height of Address, Bookmarks and Tabs lines - underline Bookmarks and Tabs lines - adjust width of Tabs,

but could not find way to adjust Menu-bar line height.

It would be nice to get instructions about rules and list of commands that can be used how to design userChrome.css file.

Is there a way to limit the version of Firefox ESR that will be received? For example, lock only the minors updates. Or hang a specific update.

I would like to receive updates normally through the browser, but I can not make them available at the same time that they are available to the public.

I've managed to move the tabs to not on top by pasting text from another user into my css file. But this has made the Back/Forward/Stop/Home buttons (which were large in my previous CSS) back to the default small icons. Can anyone suggest what code I need to change to get the large icons back?

In Firefox 65 update gave me a new tooltip or box under the urlbar when i type an address. How can we disable that blue box in attached image? I don't know what it is called but it is just useless and annoying.

I'm trying to move tabs to the bottom. Some of the community answers talk about adding code to the userchrome.sss file, however I don't have that file in my Firefox folder. How do you get or create that file and what should be in it?

Hey, I know this question has been tackled in the past, but I tried following previous guides and none of the code listed in those guides worked with the latest version of firefox (66). I'm a mac user (you guessed it lol) and I wanted to put the "close tab" x button on the left of the tab, and not the right, so that its consistent with the rest of Mac OS.

Does anyone know how to do that, or is there an extension which does this?

New three-dot button that was added to the addressbar can be tabbed to and has slowed down my productivity.

My usual hotkey combo to search is <ctrl+t> <tab> <type search string> <enter>. I understand I can replace <tab> with <ctrl+e> to access the searchbar, or that I can <tab> twice - I'm just wondering if there's a way to go back to how it was a few days ago, for muscle-memory-sake?

Addressbar buttons are not customizable via the toolbar customize mode.
