Managed to get Tabs on Bottom in all previous updates (including FF65). Carried over ToB with FF66.0.2 update, but the whole line of tabs (including vertical separators) has shifted down about 1/3 of its height such that it bleeds into the immediate viewable screen. If the top of that viewable screen is black, for example, the tab titles are almost unreadable. Any advice? Appreciated.

My WIX Store sells digital downloads - I have verified that since the latest Firefox Update - My Digital Downloads have the filename truncated (to only 4 characters) and the file extension is completely wiped out

Is there a script that I can run, or a console command to stop user inputted Console commands?

Why is this a feature without the option to disable when none of the other browsers has this feature?

It's really annoying trying to close a tab only to open a new one again because you middle clicked on the empty portion of the tab bar.

Dose anyone know why the buttons for the Close, Minimize and Restore Down commands have disappeared from the top right corner of my Firefox window? Although, hovering over the area will still show the names of them. I am using it on a Toshiba laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium. Thanks in advance for any help.

As the Firefox window is loading in, the boxes and their names are visible for a second, and then they disappear. This issue showed up after I installed an update for Firefox. There was no problem before that, and I have this problem only in the Firefox window. All other windows display the boxes and their names properly.

I have an Acer laptop that I'm about to send in for a warranty repair for several different issues. I was told by Acer that it will likely be reset/reformatted upon arrival. Also, I was informed that the laptop may be replaced with a completely different unit at their discretion.

I would like to obviously keep all of my Firefox info, history, bookmarks, etc. and be able to restore them to the computer when it is returned to me, be it the same laptop or a new one.

Can someone please instruct me on the proper way to do this?

Is it as simple as copying my Profile folder to another drive, and then reinstalling it after I reinstall Firefox back on the laptop (be it my original one or a new one) when it has been returned to me?

Do I need to use the Profile Manager?

I bought a used Lenovo to use while my Acer is in for repairs. Today, I think that I successfully synced the two of them. (I have a Windows phone and thus no Firefox app for my phone, and could not enter a phone number to "complete" the sync as instructed) but it seems to have worked.

Will the bookmarks, history, tabs, etc from my Acer disappear from showing up on the Lenovo when the Acer laptop is reset by the factory?

(Or should I even delete Firefox from that Acer that I am sending in just out of privacy/security concerns?)

Whenever I open a youtube video, the player will be paused. All I have to do is click it to start, but that's mildly inconvenient enough to bother me. This issue is present when all of my plugins/extensions/addons are disabled as well. It does not occur if I use Chrome.

My hand jerked as I clicked on a folder in the bookmarks menu. The folder disappeared. I looked in all other folders and searched for bookmarked websites in the folder. They were listed in show all bookmarks. I opened some and clicked on the "edit this website" and it showed they were still in that folder. But I can't find the folder. In Show All Bookmarks it doesn't show the location of listed bookmarks. Help.

Hello, I have two PCs and since I have my second computer, my bookmarks are not syncing. I checked the bookmarks' box in the sync options but it still does not work. In my second PC I tried the option Import bookmarks from other browser and I choose Chrome. The imported bookmarks are displayed in my first PC but in the second PC is not showing anything. This is very strange.... Sorry for my English

My bookmarks side bar is too wide and I would like to make it narrower. I have tried a few userchrome.css things but none work correctly. It looks like there is a frame or something behind the sidebar so when it narrows the frame is still there anyway. I am trying to get a little more size to my main view panel BUT I also like to leave the bookmarks side bar displayed at all times.

While attempting to fix my laptop battery I either deleted or changed a setting that is impacting Mozilla Firefox. When I attempt to start Firefox I get the Crash Reporter "Firefox had a problem & crashed" - after many attempts, I can't get it to restart. I don't know what I am going to do if I have lost all my bookmarks & saved passwords. Please help!

This is what I did to try & fix battery not charging, but in Device Manager I also deleted what I thought was an old network adapter, but can't remember exactly what it was I deleted. I also changed a lot of battery settings, but don't think that should impact Firefox?

Please Shutdown the Notebook Step 06. Please remove the Battery and unplug the Power Adapter Step 07. Press and Hold the Power Button for full 1 Minute Step 08. Go ahead and put back the Battery and connect the Power Adapter Step 09. Look for "Plugged In Charging" message on the Battery icon

When using Firefox ver 66.0.2, the "Share" with Twitter allows for only a few words. Why? Please advise, thanks! In the example uploaded, only 83 characters allowed.

Hello, i just did the terrible update 3.29.19 and now my bookmarks toolbar is GONE. Nothing is fixing it, I've tried everything. I have it set to display. It's a kink from Firefox's update. Please fix this, I can't work without my bookmark toolbar. I did a reinstall etc.

On most sites, I can right click an image and choose "Save image as..."

Today I wanted to download an image from Facebook. I right-clicked on the image and "Save image as..." was not there.

Why is this happening and how can I solve it?

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit PC.

Start Firefox and open up 4 tabs with different websites for each tab.

With the 4th tab displaying, close Firefox

Wait until all instances of Firefox in Task Manager have ended

Restart Firefox

The restore previous session loads the 4 tabs but does not display tab 4 being the last tab showing when closed. It displays a blank page and is totally unresponsive. Starting a new tab (5) is also unresponsive. Yet the other 3 tabs work fine.

Steps taken – uninstalled Firefox and deleted existing profile then reinstalled Firefox with a new profile but no change. No add-ons, bookmarks, history or settings changed.

Please help.

I am using Firefox Quantum and when I type something in the address bar Yahoo searches pop up. There are obviously many other people with the same problem as I have seen this same issue brought up multiple times when I have researched this problem. I have looked at the answers provided in the various forums etc. and none have provided an answer that works for me. I have done the "about:config", "about:preferences#search", gone in and deleted or inactivated all add ons, etc. and either the expected response such as looking for the "keyword.url" is not there or does not work. If this can't be fixed I am going to stop using Firefox all together as this Yahoo search thing is SO annoying. I would think that with this being a common problem the help sites for Mozilla/Firefox would have the answer readily available. Furthermore, just my two cents worth, but I think it stinks that either Yahoo or some other associated program hijacks the address bar and changes the search from Google, which is what I had set up, to Yahoo without a warning or even without asking if I would like this. The results that Yahoo search produces are very inadequate.

Firefox has gotten worse and worse. I updated FF and can't view all of my Facebook pages because I need to activate Javascript but FF doesn't allow it, making FB useless on Firefox. What a waste!

None of my Firefox extensions work on mozilla.org. I checked their whitelists and mozilla.org was not in them. There's no message saying that "this extension does not work here". So, for example, if I right click on an element and click uBlock's "Block element", nothing happens whatsoever. Why is this necessary, and is there a setting to change this?

Examples of extensions that don't work on mozilla.org: Greasemonkey, uBlock, Vimium
