I tried to delete my primary password online, but system would not allow me to do so. I have exhausted all avenues to seek help, but to no avail. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Tmg3842@yahoo.com

We have an electronic document management system in our company. The system is an internal system without access to the LAN. Firefox detects files downloaded from it as potentially dangerous after the last update. Is there a way to prevent files from this website from being detected as potentially dangerous?

On the page listing passwords, it was possible to sort them by "Alerts".

In settings, there is an option to enable checking the vulnerable passwords: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-password-manager-alerts-breached-websites

On my other laptop using Firefox v121, the alerts are properly displayed. But on my second laptop using Firefox v124, the alerts are gone. I can't sort password by "Alerts", the option isn't there. Both laptops share the same Firefox account and have password synchronized between each other.

Obviously, I ticked the "Show alerts about passwords for breached websites" box in the settings but it looks like it does not nothing. I also checked in "about:config" and everything seems good.

Is this feature gone?

Hi, Before Firefox's Version 125.0.1 (64-bit) latest update I could download any file from my safe office environment, behind firewalls, VPN, ... Now despite of unchecking the "Block dangerous downloads" I'm still unable to download files. I have Windows 10 on my laptop.

Here are the steps: Click on a file, Save "File not downloaded. Potential security risk." Click on the message - Allow download The result is a file with content "HTTP Status 405 – Method Not Allowed".

Please help me to work the downloading again. I am aware of the safety but I want to switch off this feature.

What is a security key? Where do I find it? Why does Firefox think I have one?

And why is there no helpful information to explain this confusing UX?

Dzień dobry, W mojej przeglądarce chciałabym skorzystać z czatu GPT, ale pojawia się komunikat, że żeby skorzystać muszę wyłączyć blokadę reklam. Szukałam takiego czegoś w ustawieniach i firefox support, ale nie znalazłam nic co by pomogło w wyłączeniu blokady reklam. Czy mógłby mi ktoś pomóc i pokierować jak mogłabym wyłączyć blokadę reklam? Today Firefox stopped altogether and dimmed the entire window and popped up a "Try the Firefox VPN" message. I use Firefox specifically to get away from disruptive, intrusive violations like that. This needs to be removed immediately and never ever happen again. It's completely antithetical to the core values of Firefox.

For this reason, I would like to know what type of data is sent to Google.

In order to add photos to Shutterfly from google photos on Firefox, which is what Shutterfly likes, I have to enable 3rd party cookies.

I have been trying and googling and searching support for some time now. The google instructions do not come close to matching what is on the commuter. The "support" instructions are in technical computer language which I don't get.

So, please help me, but pretend you are explaining to your grandma (I may not be yours, but I am a grandma to 4 grandkids) and she's never used a computer before (I have, but I'm sick of wading through technical answers that don't match the computer and don't work).

I have used for many years Java in Firefox to stream live a stock market app. In order to continue using that app I have to use now Microsoft Edge. I would prefer to continue using Firefox. Is there a solution?
